Women’s Motorcycle Riding Pants – REVIEW!

Hey Spark Army! Hope all is well . This is my very first product review blog post and I’m super excited to share it with you! I’ve been ordering parts, gear and other moto necessities from Revzilla for several years, but I’ve recently officially partnered with them to start this new product review series.  I do make a small percentage through my referral links but in no way will that change my product reviews. I’m here to give you an honest review and ladies perspective on things – starting with these 4 Women’s Abrasion resistant pants.  I won’t bore you any longer with a long drawn out intro, so let’s get to it!

Oh wait…For info purposes,  I wear a Size 0 or 2 (depending on the brand) in Cager Clothes. I’m 5’5″ and ~110-115lbs.

Bull-it Fury II Jeggings

(I ordered a Size 0)

Honestly? I was the most excited to try these Bull-It Jeggings. I’ve seen them around for a while and have always been impressed with their Covec technology and style. I really, really really wanted to love these pants. They look great, they protect great, but their sizing (for me) was so “off”. This is actually my 6th pair of Bull-It pants I’ve tried in the last year and I still have yet to find a size that fits me. I ordered my “civilian” size, it was too small – like wouldn’t even go past my thigh. Two sizes up? Too big.  One size down (this pair)? Too small – but in just the waist (everything else fit ok.). Unfortunately, I can’t provide a good review with these pants as I couldn’t comfortably wear them and what good are protective pants if they don’t fit. (Note : I’ve also tried other styles of pant other than the Fury II Jeggings from Bull-It and had the same sizing issues.)

However! I still stand by my opinion of their tech. I love how much they’ve put into their highly rated Covec technology. These pants also come with CE level 2 knee armor. I’m heartbroken that these didn’t work out for me but that doesn’t mean they won’t work for someone else! I did hear through the grapevine that Bull-It jeans is releasing a new line – maybe they’ve improved their sizing inconsistencies. If I could get a solid pair of pants that would fit me, I would easily give these pants a 5/5 Sparks but until then I would give them a 3/5.

Speed & Strength

Comin’ In Hot Yoga Moto Pants

(I ordered a Size 2)

I’m familiar with the Speed and Strength brand. I actually rock their Spell Bound Women’s Jacket on the daily. It’s amazing! (and NO, I didn’t order it solely based on the Harry Potter reference in their product description. STOP JUDGING ME WITH YOUR EYES). Regardless of how easily swayed I am by any mention of Hoggwarts, I have been really impressed with Speed and Strength’s Women’s Jacket so I was just as eager to try these pants!

With these yoga pants, I had totally different expectations based off the photos. When a company says “Yoga pants” I expect a softer, flexible material. My immediate impression of these pants were “eww, rough”. Obviously, we buying pants to protect us so it’s not going to as comfy as your everyday yoga pants but I defintiely wasn’t expecting that level of stiffness. Once I got past that, though, the overall pant was pretty nice.  I do wish they came with knee protectors – or at least the option to add them. And when I tried them on, it was very loose in the wast / groin area. I’d like to see them chose a different material for the overall pant and add a bit more protection options. Also, would love to see their sizing a bit more dialed in. With those things in mind, I would give them a 3.5 / 5!

Alpinestars

Iria Women’s Leggings

(I ordered a Size XS)

I don’t usually “go” for the cargo pant style but I was actually pleasantly surprised with these! They fit great. They felt great. I loved them! They do have a great abrasion resistant aramid cloth lining and removable Bio Flex Plus armor on the knees. They also have hip protector pockets so you can opt to add those in, too! Yes, the cargo pockets DO work – which is nice if you want to throw your phone in there.

I think my only qualm with these pants were they were a bit “heavy” if that makes sense. Very thick material and you can definitley feel the weight of them while wearing but it’s not overwhelming or uncomfortable – just not the greatest material to ride in my  Lava Hot riding elements (Hi, I’m Jess. I live in Florida).  Otherwise, these pants get a solid 4/5!

Oxford Super Jeggings

Since honesty is my best quality, I should tell you I had very low expectations with these pants. Again… I’m visual so I made a lot of assumptions based off the photos. I thought I wouldn’t like the color, I thought the waist would fit funny, I thought they wouldn’t flatter my body, etc, etc.

On the contrary, I ended up loving these the most!! They fit spot on. I had 0 issues with sizing. They are also by far the most comfortable riding pants I’ve tried to date. These Jegging are made of a stretchy, light weight material lined with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber thread and elastane for slim-fitting abrasion resistance.

They do have CE Level 2 knee protectors included and they are removable for washing. They also have pockets for added hip protectors (sold separately).

Since the fit was spot on, the material super comfy, and the protection was top notch…I give these pants a 5/5!

 Jess’ Rating : 5/5 Sparks!

I do have a video on TikTok where I show how each of these pants look while wearing them. You can check that out to the right!

Also, I know some of these pants have limited stock and may not be available in your size but Revzilla has a plethora of other options so check out there website for more Women’s Riding Pants.

If there’s something else you’d like me to try out, please let me know or just leave your comments, thoughts, and suggestions. I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time…
